ainawethI guess I hit a milestone in my driving career today: I locked my keys in my car for the first time. And at the worst time, too... I had to call my mom to bring me the other key, and she wasn't supposed to know where I was at the time because it had to do with a surprise for my parents' anniversary. Grrrrr.
Just some things that stood out to me:
Harry/Ginny! YES!! Ron/Hermione! YES!! Although there was still too much romance-y stuff in this book for my taste. Ron and Lavender... oy. XP
Lots of people seem to be upset that Snape has now chosen sides and is clearly TEH EVIL, but I'm not. Frankly, I was getting sick of all the "Oh, Snape is on our side, Harry, don't judge him just because he hates your guts" stuff. Forget the gray area - I WANT to hate him completely, and now I feel more free to do so. At least for now... I'm quite prepared for JKR to reveal yet another thing that keeps him ambiguous again. :P
Draco... well, I never thought I'd actually feel sympathy for him, but there it is.
What can I say about Dumbledore. I went into this book spoiler-free, so I had no idea who'd die (thought it might be Draco or Snape). It doesn't come as a complete surprise to me, but I didn't think it'd happen this soon. :/
That's it for now, I guess... oh, and Tonks = ??WTF??
