Yes. Yes, they are. I remember matrices from high school...of course, I remember absolutely nothing about them, other than how horrible and painful they were. You have my sympathy!

Thanks. I didn't do matrices in high school, so they're new to me. At least I can be comforted knowing that after tomorrow, I can forget everything I "learned" about them. ;) (unless, God forbid, I have to take another math course for some reason...)
