I think I've figured out all the classes I will be taking for the next 3 or so years. I finally got them to match up perfectly with my both own interests and the required hours for graduation. Now all I have to do is see my advisor and watch him rip apart that meticulously created plan.

But in the event that he doesn't, I'll just have one thing left to decide on. Which of these languages should I take for a semester: Italian, German, or Japanese?

I think Italian might be easiest for me because I already know some Spanish and Latin (and I can at least pronounce it right). On the other hand, you're right about reading being easier than listening...

Pronunciation would probably be my biggest problem with German. And I know I'd have to take an oral exam, so that's the only thing I'm worried about.

As for Japanese, the main thing I want to learn is reading it, but that's definitely more of a long-term project that I may prefer to do on my own as a hobby...
